1/ Context
I’m a junior strategic planner looking for my next agency.
Like many junior strategists, I spend a lot of time in interviews talking about how I think and what I’ve done so far.
But strategic thinking is probably better shown than explained.
So how could I reach the agencies I’d like to join, and show them my strategic approach rather than simply describe it?
2/ What’s the objective of the campaign?
Get on the radar of creative agencies across Greater Paris and turn that attention into conversations about my next role.
3/ What’s the task?
Turn the job search itself into an opportunity to demonstrate strategic thinking and creative problem-solving.
4/ Who’s our target?
Heads of strategy, planning directors and agency leaders in Greater Paris who might be looking for their next junior strategic planner. And everyone around them.
If you’re reading this, probably you.
5/ What is the strategic idea?
Advertising is usually something people try to avoid.
- 81% of consumers say they aim to ignore and tune out ads.
- 52% of consumers say they take steps to actively block ads.

But there’s one audience with a particular relationship with advertising.
The people who make it.
If advertising is something my audience naturally pays attention to, my application can get on their radar the same way.
Meet them on their playground.
The job search could take the form of a real brand campaign, with its creative brief revealing the strategic thinking behind it.
A minimalist print could be enough to spark curiosity. One line and a QR code, letting the message come before the person behind it.
6/ Tone of voice
The campaign should speak with the confidence of a brand and be straight to the point.
